You have 120k to spend on car(s). you have a baby and a wife, you don't need to drive to work, what's Your line?
1. 997.1 c4s + 2008 Porsche Cayenne turbo
2. 997 Turbo + random Family car
3. Panamera Turbo

though one especially because as of now I only want to spend half but trying to decide if i should save and get a Panamera, or get an c4s/c2s now and a Cayenne GTS/turbo later. I am not a suv kind of guy ( I am from Germany - we don't like suv's :-)) but my wife likes 'em, also she hates the look of the Panamera. So she is voting for 911 + cayenne.

That is our thought process. I'm picking up a TT here soon and we have been looking for a good family car, looks + power + size is hard to come by. We have looked at the S4, E350, etc but the Panamera takes it all.
That's the carzy thing she is like go get yourself a 911 and later we can get a cayenne if you like, she can't stand most cars that aren"t coupes (family friendly) other then a RangeRover, I just don't think that I would like to have one of those :P
+1 Don't be that guy that blows cash on a 911...then sticks his wife and child in a Kia.
Don't worry it does not need to come that far. I am more thinking along the lines of an Audi A4/A6 (Station) - Bmw 5series type of thing. I am hope I never buy anything but German/Italian

The Cayenne GTS doesn't feel like an SUV, it is a big sports car with a lot of storage space. My Touareg is a much less capable version of it and it is a fun vehicle to drive around...especially in the corners when you learn how to handle it.
I think the bigger question...is what does she want to drive???
Agree with Ed.
You have to have some kind of 911 in the stable. As good as a Panamera turbo, it is no 911.
