any body tracking the new pccbs
I just read the Feb issue of "GT Purely Porsche" and the 2005 Turbo S was put to the test. With regards to the brakes this is what they said: "The standard PCCB setup is absolutely fantastic for track use. While outright stopping performance is little better than the standard steel items. PCCB is utterly tireless. Whereas the Carrera S we had tested earlier this week was pouring smoke after half a dozen laps, with the pedal starting to soften, the Turbo felt like it could carry on all day. No smoke, no fade, just fantastically consistent feel. This is due to bigger disks, bigger calipers, and the ceramic composites' ability to take higher temperatures. It takes just two seconds to halt from 30mph and even more impressive, just 4.6 sec to stop from 100mph. The deceleration leaves you gasping, literally hanging against the seatbelt."
