black chrome looks amazing...

I remember the first time I saw it was on a 4Runner grille. We ordered the chrome grille and got a black chrome one in. Looking at it alone, it was a bit tough to tell, other than it just looked "off". But next to the regular chrome, it was night and day (no pun intended).

The owner didn't want the black chrome, though, he wanted the regular chrome back. So we sent back the BC and had to wait another week on the part.

Couple (bad) photos of my 'Black Smoke" powdercoated tips. I'll be the first to admit that they aren't 'black chrome', but I was pleasantly surprised at just how good they came out. And for the money..

..or, maybe not.. call Roger at Final Touch Powdercoating - www.finaltouchpowdercoating.com

If you can live w/o the car for a few days, you can overnight the tips to him, have him coat 'em and send 'em back. Tell him Chris sentcha (I'm his buddy, so there's nothing in it for me).

NC 997 I must admit that looks superb You saved a lot of money compared to my option too!

However, I quite like the base Carrera tips, but I do not like the stock tips on the S, which is why I went aftermarket.

Well according to the tuning companies, the quad tips are less restrictive than the stock Carrera pipes and you may lose hp going that way.

Black chrome looks great.

If you guys are looking for some aero parts to go with that, we have discounts for 6speed members.

I recently had the AWE black diamond exhaust tips installed and really like the look. It's probably personal preference but should the longer of the two tips be toward the center of the car or on the outside (as in my photos)? Also, any thoughts on whether they'd look better tucked in under the rear bumper a little more? The tips are easily adjustable.
