My 17th Porsche is on it's way over. It's a '11 S with sport exhaust, sport chrono, sport shifter, SPASM, adaptive seats etc, basalt over nat. brown leather. I'm replacing a '09 S which has all the same features (white car, no sport exhaust) and I'm still as excited as heck. I loved the '09, which in turn had replaced a '07 turbo (which I didn't love). Where do I get help?
P.S. nearly went to the dark side and bought a V10R8 but addicts have their medicine of choice, I guess.

17?! I'm no doctor but i think a little Ritalin may help. At least no one can accuse you of not being passionate about the brand. Maybe its that new car smell and uphoria. Congrats and enjoy.
I missed the flat six wail, the lightness (relative) of the S and the steering finesse of the rwd cars. Turbo's are great cars, and each to their own.
Umm, should I tell you about the Speedster that I restored with a buddy and then sold for 9K in the late 60's. Probably not, I'm still kicking myself

+1. The hardest part is admitting you have a problem...

However --along the way you may be tempted to buy a used porsche, or a Cayman , or return to an older porsche (costs less). You may even rationalize a Cayenne for the wife -- after all it's not for you .
In the end you'll hit bottom -- no money --no Porsches -- and at best reading 6speedonline (unless you get banned).
You can always take that one last Porsche buying "gottahaveit" leap -the final hurrah -- the Gt2RS!!!!
You can even apply for credit , mortgage the house. and play the lottery .. and dream of a garage filled with Porsches.
If all else fails you'll always have the memories. It's the good old days when buying porsches and driving them was not just a way of life .. it was a major joy in life.
PS --, Best wishes with the 17th Porsche!!!!

Buying these cars is a voluntary behavior . A dried up wallet is a fast cure .

Congrats.. love to hear the difference between the sport exhaust and the regular one. When I was in a cab this weekend I could not believe how aggressive of a sound it was ... this was without the Sport Exhaust.

Regardless, best of luck with the new ride!
