Lowering with 4 Springs and Alignment (N. Georgia shop)

FWIW,

I posted in another thread about a new Porsche mechanic in North Georgia...

He's lowering my car and alignment for less than five hundred bucks... said the rear springs 3 hrs and front springs 2 hrs + alignment.

That sounds like a killer deal... if any of our Atlanta members need services, PM me and I'll give you his contact info.

It will be a few weeks, maybe even January, before he lowers my car... I'm in the process of having the GT3 wing installed first.

I'll be sure to let you know the quality of his work... My detailer got me in touch with him. This guy said that he used to be a Master Porsche Mechanic and in fact built engines for Porsche in the 650-850hp range.

He came up here from Florida to semi-retire... I haven't been to his shop yet, but my detailer has and told me he's got about $100K worth of specialty equipment (I just throw that out there as he sounds like a good find and not some typical bubba shop like the ones we have around here).

Who did you get your wing from? I remember you were going with one guy, but suspect that you might have switched to another supplier.

I got the wing from Precision Porsche... they test fit it on Monday, and it fit perfect with no modification to the borders on the outside. However, the inside has the fan on the left for a 997.1, so they're grafting in a new piece (also came with the wing) that puts the fan in the center for a 997.2.

Sounds like it will turn out well, is that the 997.2 GT3 wing?
