The new (.2) style has a different round airbag than the older (.1) style in the steering wheels, so if you are upgrading from a sports (round airbag) .1 wheel to a new .2 wheel, you need to buy an airbag as well, unfortunately.

 

I bought Electronic unit Part 997.613.289.01 but doesnt work. In Porsche they can not program it. Its for tiptronic and pdk gear box.

 

Any update on this? I seem to be running into a lot of threads with unanswered questions.
