There's a price for everything. No, it doesn't have to be... we just need to fix Sacramento!

Unless you have an out of state driver license, i wouldn't do it. You can be fined big time with taxes and penalty if you drive an out of state car in CA. As a CA resident, your cars need to be registered in CA to operate it here. Cops are sensitive about this.

yep, we are in such bad shape that nobody worth a damn would even run for office in CA. So unfortunately we get "Moonbeam" again.

Not if it's legitimate because you own multiple residences in different states. Especially if those states border California.

Remember though, our friends in Nevada pay more than we do in CA for our fees, if it's any consolation.

About the CA VLF fee: Remember a few years ago (probably 4-5) these fees decreased. Within the last 24 mos, that window has shut, and instead of maintaining those rates, Gov Schwarzenegger decided to let them go back up to pre-relief levels. Of course, the state's financial crisis was the reason for letting this happen. Like it will really make a difference.

I pray to God that the newest election outcome will not absolutely decimate this state into financial oblivion for good... idiots.

Dudes, unless your tax residence is another state I would NOT take the chance of trying to register in another state....
