6speeders,

Had a 2003 996 with PSE-loved the sound and want that on my 2009 C2S PDK.

Just sounds too tame.

Suggestions?

Thanks

Go with an aftermarket CAT-back exhaust system and get many advantages over PSE (weight savings, cost savings, and most offer a performance boost of between +5 and +15 HP over OEM). I recommend FVD products, but there are good ones from Tubi, Cargraphics, FVD, AWE, and Sharkwerks. Be aware that there are great differences between 2005-2008 first Gen 997's and the newer 2009-2011 997.2 DFI cars. The engines are completely different and the exhaust design is completely different giving the newer 997.2 a very different sound, giving aftermarket exhaust designers a unique challenge to make a great sound. Those offerings opinions about how various aftermarket systems sound on their Gen 1 997's don't really offer much for you and your Gen 2 car - it is like comparing apples and oranges. Beware. Listen to those with 997.2 car and their opinions - you will be better informed.
