After longing for a Porsche for past 20 years and visiting the board every day (and that’s day and night) for past 2 to 3 years (my wife have ask me to seek professional help on many occasions). I finally place my order on a 997S (July build, dealer say car will be 2006 model year). Sounds great! Might I suggest remote CD, metal door sills and supple leather; about $1500 but IMO worth it.

Are they offering a Sport Exhaust option yet? I also like my white gauge faces but that is definitely a matter of personal preference.

 

Congrats in advance on the S! Speaking of white dials, is it easily possible to have them installed in a 997 (non S) aftermarket?

 

FULL CARBON FIBER PACKAGE .... i hated carbon fiber and thought it was terrible ... after seeing a couple of cars here and seeing it in person I regret everyday not getting it ... but i guess it's personal taste ...
