Maybe I'm in the minority, but I'm liking the factory nav in my .2 car. The integration is kind of great, and now that I've figured out the menu's, we're getting along just fine. BT phone support is great. Power comfort seats are really great IMHO, and are comfortable for multiple hour road trips. Not sure how you're going to use the car, but if it needs to do duty as a road trip GT, I'm liking my seats.

I don't like the sound of the factory exhaust, so I think PSE does plenty for the whole driving experience. OR, if not PSE, then Tubi or AWE.

I REALLY wish my car had the rear wiper.

I wouldn't have ordered the park assist, but I have it and am surprised that it's kind of handy in a DD...Particularly give the poor rearward visibility in the Targa with the top open.

I'm not a fan of black wheels / black car, but that's all about aesthetic preference. I think the carerra II wheels are pretty good looking.

Yeah, pretty much the only option that I would add to my car is a rear wiper...and I'm really happy with everything else. AWE exhaust with black tips shows up next week for install the following week.

The adaptive sports seats are by far my favorite option. The plastic "aluminum-look" door handles and rear center console add some nice contrast to the OTW monotone black interior but are pricey. I could certainly do without the model insignia on the door sill or stainless steel exhaust tips. I guess the self-dimming mirror is good, not sure what it would be like without it. Bose is meh, I've had much better stereo systems in other cars but it can't hurt resale.

I like the Classic Carrera wheels although it's ironic they are an option on the S but standard on the Base. Easy to clean and more aesthetically appealing than the Lobster Forks IMO.

Heated front seats in Hawaii, I thing GF has used them on two occasions and I don't think I've ever used this option

I would choose another color instead of my Arctic Silver - maybe white.

1- Options --
I agree with everything the Op chose .
I would add the limited slip differential option and the sport shifter .

2) Colors -
Aqua blue happens to look absolutely gorgeous with a set of brushed Hre wheels .

In the panamera section there used to be photos of a car which looks gorgeous. The exteriior was aqua , wheels were brushed, interior was black with red stiching and red dials .
The pictures are not there anymore but it got a lot of positive compliments

I did find a picture of a Turbo (has brushed wheels too) . also gorgeous ... woild look even better in the sunlight.

if i could do over?

#1-----Full leather option
i am still kicking myself over this! I still blame porsche for the cheapo interior, but now that I keep liking the car more and more, I wish I had sprung for the leather
#2 Aqua blue....i saw one in person and it was very very nice.
#3 Sport PASM.....i would give up a smidge of ride comfort for the better handling!

That's all!

A few things...
1. To me, Bose is worth it. So is the Nav...I guess it depends on where you live and how often you have to consult it. For me, having an integrated system is a bonus so I'm not fumbling around with my phone.
2. I have the Gundo hack and a performance intake. Does wonders for great engine sound.
3. I like PASM...
4. I would go for sports seats.
5. Black full leather interior.
6. Colored seat belts ?

No, no I do still care. My frustrations are with the most unusual situation.
I still love the car and the personal thoguht everyoner puts into it.

Will they likely give me a new car.. probably not, will I end up with a new one.. Yes.

I like all the comments and after trying it for a few days, I can see the appeal of NAV. My phone gets hot. Its just such a rip off.

As for PSE... I dont have the best hearing and while I can hear it sometimes, I am just not sure its that cool. Having to press a buttons to feel cooler just seems wrong. Dont know though.

The balck on Black was very nice looking for me, I just dont ever want to remember my first porsche once this is over.

997.2 nav is great. I would add PSE if I could go back. Listen its a street car so 10-20 lbs will not make a difference. I have a C2S vs. a C4S for the weight savings and 2WD. So I can add back a little. I like Bose - havent listened to std. I like SPASM, PDK and SC. Really sporty regular 911. Ride is fine.
