Opinion needed: GTS or TT
have you driven the turbo? If not...that would be a logical next step.
I have driven 2. One was stock...fast fast fast but felt dead and spongy at the corners. The other had some supsension tweaks and had a good feel. Not a huge sample size, but might imply that turbo's need some suspension work...
Something to think about....

I am already spoiling myself here even with a base C2S

Keep your current car and don't buy a new car .
It would : (not in any order)
a) save a lot of money
b) make wife happy .
This actually sounds like the most logical and practical choice.
In fact my feeling is that if you settle on a compromise car will it ever erase the doubts about the Turbo S that you didn't get?
However -- if the opinion question is only about which Porsche -- I think you already know the answer in your heart .. and whichever car you get --or if you get none ---
I wish you the best.
I actually have my wife's approval for the full range from base to Turbo (even a TT S if I press hard). And this is the source of the problem, if she only approves a base, the problem will be simple.
She's just annoyed at my GTS vs Turbo question and she's just tired of answering it with: "Just get what you want."

Plan B -- leaves this as an option--

Turbo S for all of the reasons stated above. However, I don't see your "fall back" position as much of a hardship either! LOL
Best of luck to you regardless of what you chose.

Well, if you have to have rear seats for the kids then I guess you'll just have to 'trade down' to the TTS
It's a tough life, but sometimes you have to make a sacrifice here and there...

Get the Turbo S
You will save yourself the trouble of should I have bought the turbo debate in your head.
The Turbo S has it all and if your not tracking it will be all the car you will ever want and more.
