Still not 100% certain. The front & rear have a painted texture, while the side doesn't feel as glossy. Even if it not painted, I think painting it would ruin the whole "theme".

We live vicariously thru you.One thing that is beyond opinion is the fact that matching your lowers makes for a more rounded look. Egg-like if you will. Whether you like that effect is all your decision. I didn't paint mine because my car is black to begin with.
FYI - your side valances are right off a $250k GT2 RS car. I read that it's the same part number, even!
Minority opinion? hmmm. Not sure about that. But it's YOUR opinion and that's all that matters at the end of the day. ENJOY IT. It's a sweet unit.

Oh don't get us wrong. We are ******* your choice on the valences. It's a beautiful car. Just stating that the body matching lowers are an option for YOUR car ALSO. For $1700'ish. We all get excited here and start conceptualizing mods as if it were OUR car We live vicariously thru you.
We live vicariously thru you. Hope that makes it clearer. Re: opinions, there are SO many options, it's hard to get a majority opinion on what's best for any part of the car (see RWD vs AWD, PDK vs 6MT). If I find something I like and it's different than anyone else would do it, all the better.

No, I do understand and I appreciate the suggestion. I hope I didn't sound dismissive or condescending. Its just that I switched from a C2S order to the GTS for all the things that were _different_ from the base Carreras. Anything that might make it look more like an optioned Carrera would be working opposite my intent. Hope that makes it clearer.
