Anyone know this car?

Owner seems honest but appearances can always be deceiving. Does anyone have access to a dealer to run the vin and see what the services look like?

He bought it CPO last year am I correct in assuming any CPO porsche can only be a 1 owner car prior to this guy buying it?

Those guides are meaningless... they should be used as a base only - if noone i selling the car for that price whats the point?

They rate my GNX at $12-15k in the books when it is a $65k car all day long...

Nada is more accurate. It averages the asking prices of dealers, cars sold, and auction prices for that month and comes up with the figures hence the real figure of the car being in the 20's. I've sold cars, and people always came to my house with a Nada Print out. In the perspective of Seller, KBB Private is the best, in the perspective of Buyer, Nada is the best.

At the same token though, given if for example I buy this car for the asking of 39K, and tomorrow say man, I need to sell this. People are going to throw these numbers in my face all day long, and I can keep writing back "Those numbers are just for Base", but that's what I'll be getting throw at me.
I think the books are irrelevant. The only true guide to pricing are recent transactions such as reported at Manheim auctions. Ultimately it will be what the seller is willing to take and what the buyer is willing to pay - and if that agreed upon number is what is in the book then pure coincidence.

Rather than assume things about the condition of the car based on the number of previous owners or other factors, why not just go look at it yourself? You and the car are both in the same state.
