Usually the CPO cars are on auto trader but i see that we are looking at the same car now. You need to see it in person .. that's my opinion but i am a very picky person where even a simple thing like a former owner being a smoker with an otherwise perfect car could be a dealbreaker .

Sight unseen is just too much to risk with any used car purchase.

Based on shipping costs and airfare, I've decided to pass on this one. I really appreciate all the comments received by everyone. I figure if there is one in arizona, their will be a similar car available more locally sometime in the future. Until then, the search continues.

 

One thing that either of you guys could do is pick a region with several dealerships, independent lots, and individual owners which have enough cars to actively shop . Both Florida and Southern California have no snow and lots of cars to choose from . It basically means going for a 4 day weekend with the idea of buying a car . if one dealershiip doesn't make it happen then there's two or three others in driving proximity to see another car similar . It's kinda like a vacation with a Porsche as a Souvenir .

 

Worth a phone call IMO. 3 hours away too.

Same dealer has a white '09' base with PDK for $65k. No sport chrono but it can now be added at a dealer.
