I have a porsche battery maintainer that I have used the past few years. The one that goes thru the lighter socket.

When I would use it the light on the tender would go on and after being in the socket a while it would turn off.

Now the maintainer does not light up at all when I put plug it into the electrical outlet.

Can I assume the tender has gone bad?

Is your cig lighter working properly? Your may want to try it ( easier) or check the fuse before checking into the maintainer.

 

Good thought.

However, light would come on when plugged into to electrical socket and before it was placed in lighter.
