Iphone 4 music volume is low. Does anyone else notice this?

I just got a new 2009 997 S and when I plug in the Iphone and play music, it only goes to about 70% of the volume of CD or radio. My last 2007 didn't have that option, and the dealer hasn't heard of any other complaints. Anyone else notice this?

Outside data point, I have an iphone 4 connected to a Pioneer head unit and it has the same volume range as the other inputs (this is through the 30 pin connector of course).

When I hook up my iPhone 3G it is also at about 70%. If i unhook it, man does the tuner play LOUD...! Same thing happened when I had my iPhone4. But I returned it - stupid antenna. Now let's see about the Verizon version!

We'll see what the dealer says next week, but I'm afraid it will be like the Bluetooth phone. Just not that good, unfortunately. It's a shame cause I was really looking forward to those two features that were not on my 2007. It seems neither feature works as well as every other option on the car.

No, I checked it. The funny thing is that I have always wished for a little more volume out of all my Apple music devices. This lack of volume is annoying because when I listen to it, I find myself instinctively trying to turn it up every minute or two. Maybe there is software update Porsche might come out with.

Why do you have 5mm spacers? Sorry if it's a stupid question, but I am new to the forum. I just got this 2009 997 S after driving a 2007 997 S.

Me?

Front - it makes the front calipers where it says Porsche easier to clean with the wheels on - another 1/4 in of space in there.

Rear - wanted to match the Front.

Appearance - if any, that's much harder to notice than the cleaning clearance.

Have you also turned the volume on the phone to the max? I had to do that along with the setting on the phone. After that the volume was ok.

Tried all that. Still doesn't work. I may exchange the phone for a new one.

+1.. BIGTIME.
I wish Porsche would partner with Bowers & Wilkins, B&O, or somebody of that caliber...
