Long, et al are now 15 laps down (about the 18 hour mark), getting a lap back on most cautions, definitely the fastest car in the race, can they make up 15 lap in 18 or so hours??? Would be crazy if they did.

 

Yeah, the FL boss better leave driving at that level to the professionals. I suspect Bergmeister and Long are doing their level best but the repair delay was enormous.

 

Neiman got in it ! Happens EVERY time ( # 44 in ALMS ) he does. Just a wealthy team owner with an ego bigger than his brain.

 

+1, I see it all the time, just because you have money to race doesn't say you can actually drive. I see it at DE's all the time right up to the professional level.

Neiman claims he was avoiding a car and ran off track....however if Pat or Jorge were driving I bet they would have done a better job getting around the GT car and stay on track. Does't Seth understand that all around Daytona the grass/dirt is lumpy and will tear up the front of a DP car! GEESH!
