Low Mileage '05 S vs. Higher Mileage '07 4S?

I am considering coming back to Porsche after several years elsewhere. I am looking at an '05 C2S with 29K miles (sold as a CPO by Porsche dealer) vs an '07 C4S with 50K miles (no warranty and sold by private dealer). They are both similarly equipped and appear to be in similar condition (the '05 might be a bit cleaner, but it has been detailed where the '07 has not). They are within $100 of each other in price.

Any thoughts on the preferable car? It would be a daily driver.

Thanks in advance.

without a doubt the 07 - there will be a substantial difference in resale value - both because of year as well as +$2000-$4000 for the 4 Wheel drive.
I would not worry about the mileage at all - this is not some challenging sportscar from the 70s, but one of the most reliable cars ever ...

Without looking at the cars options colors condition etc... I would go for the Carrera S, because of the mileage and the CPO.

They are both around 49. I like the color combo of the 4S better. They are in very similar condition. I am worried about the IMS issue on the '05, but the CPO is of some comfort. I am torn at the moment.

the 4s is a better car, but I am fan of lower miles and warranty.. at $50 I think you can keep looking and get a good car, does it have to be S?

Thanks all for your advice. I went for the '05 S with the CPO warranty. I still can't believe it! What a fantastic car.
