that's why i drive my prius. just because we drive porsches doesn't mean anything to the right women. it really does send the wrong message to the wrong type of chicks. however, if you know that it's just a hookup, wax the porsche before you go!!!

You and I have a similar thought process. I would never drive a Mercedes or a Porsche, if I have to, I'll borrow a friend's honda. Don't want to send the wrong message. I want a women that truly loves me, not what I have and can provide her. If times are tough, she doesn't mind running for the border (taco bell).

 

How far away was her car? If it took 2 min to walk to your car and would have taken 1:30 to talk to her car...she was checking you out and wanted to see what you drove...

 

Ok, I like to think out of the box sometimes and so Ill put on my out of the box hat.

MAYBE, she did care what you drove and wanted to see if she could paint a better picture of you. She probably thinks congruently and consider guys who have fancy cars to be flashy/shallow/arrogant.

So... maybe she was scoping you out to protect *HERSELF*. You never know!

In that case, she may be a sensible girl who you want to go after.

it was easily a 5-7 minute walk, outdoors, to her car, in 18 degree temps. It was a 2 min walk to my car, and mostly indoors. She didn't really ask me a whole lot of questions, which I'm not sure is a good or bad thing. With 1st dates you never can tell. There's an old adage that says "date your own age" where this woman is 7 yrs younger than me. And she was staring at me a lot too which is a good thing. Jury still out. A second date will tell the tale.

 

Yeah I do the same thing. If cars come up and they ask what I drive, I just say "a car" and they usually think I drive some nameless hunk of steel. I've gotten some surprise on that when I've picked up a girl or driven one home and I walk to the nicest car in the lot/on the street. And usually I drive a different car depending on how I feel that day so a lot of times they get to see a couple of very nice cars. I'm wary of gold diggers but you can usually weed them out pretty easily. I don't mind if a girl likes my cars, in fact that's a good thing. There's nothing better than a hot girl driving a hot car.
