I don't understand the idea of a supercar unless one has the ability to drive it on the track. What good is 600 hp and 1.1G to take a cruise on some country roads? if you drive it like it's meant to be driven on public you're being irresponsible.

I was in the same boat but driving a nice car everyday as your daily driver is a good treat for you. Theres nothing worse than being stuck in a car you hate all day long. I bought a new GS and love it!

I'm fighting this same battle all the time. Recently I bought a 11 BMW 535 as my daily and I love it. I have a 09 c4s and am constantly thinking about a gt2 or lambo lp. Do I sit tight or go for it. I don't intend to track at all but I definitely dream of some spirited driving...hopefully sooner than later.

there are plenty of aftermarkets that can make that car faster and a lot tighter for a lot less $ than a GT3RS. and you could still afford a nice 2nd car.

please dont hate, i'm not dissing anything here - i would own every porsche model made if i could. simply offering my experience, as i am in the "cant afford a super, so i am slowly modifying a C2S" boat.
I have thought about this route, but after reading some of the horror stories on this forum I want to find a tuner close so I will be able to be knocking on their door when the CEL comes on.
