997.2 S Windshield Crack

Any thoughts on this? It's located along the left edge of the windshield. Does this look like a rock or defect? Any suggestions on replacement...dealer or other? I live in the Santa Clarita area.

Thanks

Looks like a defect to me. I'd say bring it to the dealer and have them take a look?

Yep defect... either from the factory or the windshield has been replaced once before and incorrectly. Take the car to the dealer.

Thanks for the input.

The dealer it is. It did seem odd since the glass seems to have broken away on the inside around the rubber seal.
