Targa Again ?
Zamirz, the 996 targa was based on the coupe as well.
Had a 996 targa and I do agree that it feels heavier because of the added weight on top. That doesn't stop it from being the best compromise between an open top and a sunroof. It offers the convenience of closing the top when it rains without slowing down and stopping on the side of the road.
If you're into cornering prowess, then this might not be the best car for you. But a leasurely drive on a beautiful day is more of what the targa is made for. That's why I sold mine after eight months of ownership, not the leasurely type.
