A place that list all 997 options with the years

Hello all,

I have decided to get a 997 C4S and would like to research the options that were available for this car by year so I can get a better idea of what I'm looking for. Does anyone know of a resource available to meet that need?

Thanks

That is awesome! Pretty much all the years of the 997.1.

Thanks again!

Count me in as well. No interest in a 997.1.

Hi Surefooted,
I can't point you at an online list I'm afraid, but our 997 buyer's guide includes all the options with editorial comment and details on each one, the VIL codes (we even list all the many interior trim options!) so you see if it was factory fitted to a car you are viewing and it also includes the new gen-2 introductions and changes. This is in addition to all the other information packed into the book.
I'm happy to answer specific questions but there are about 20 A4 pages in that section.

Here is a link to a list that has the codes (I believe all of them), no original pricing though.

http://stuttcars.com/technical/option-codes/997.2/

Hope this helps.

If you just want a straight list of all the VIL codes direct from Porsche themselves, just download the full parts book via the link below - you will find all the codes towards the back, but you will also have the full parts list, so it is useful to have.
Of course this won't review each option, simply give you a code/list so I still advise you to invest in our guide for best information, a few $ spent on that will save you $$$$$ later.... Anyway I hope this helps

I wonder if the options availability in the U.K. is even the same as in the U.S...?
