Fabspeed cats? any other options?
HI guys,
I had a set of Fabspeed 200cell cats on my 996 and loved them. I am now thinking of a set for my 997.1 and wondering what other options are out there? Any manufacturer selling 100cell cats with no CEL??
thanks

I have just received a set of FVD headers & 200cell cats for my 2911 911S. I was told that the 200cell cats won't trigger CEL. Will let you guys know how I feel after the installation.
It would be worth your time to do some research. You will find that our cats are very popular. The 6speed 997 forum has been good to us...

Right there in the very link you quoted my friend. All of AWE's products for the 997, including the 200 cell cats you're looking for.
At first I wasn't sure if it would bolt up to OEM vs. their own system. But upon a closer look it seems to. What I was expecting was more of the Fabspeed design which links the tubing. The AWE system keeps the exhaust gases separate. Not sure which is better, but most performance systems I'm familiar with seem to link the gases.
Yes, they will surely bolt right up to your stock system.
You're referring to the X-pipe vs the separate crossover design? I'm sure each company could sell you in either direction, but it's probably just a matter of preference. I like them separate.

Here is a picture of our cat sections for your car. These will work with your PSE mufflers. As you can see, the exhaust gases are kept apart. These are two unique pipes.
Thank you again for your patronage!
