Narrow Body v Wide Body

The premise of my query is to help me search for a rear bumper upgrade for my 997.2 C2S. It is my understanding that only narrow body rear bumpers will fit. This makes sense but there appears few options to find a GT3 or GTS style rear bumper to match.

Make any corrections, additions to help me summarize 997 body styles:

Narrow Body:
C2
C2S
Targa
Targa S
Cab
Cab S

Wide Body:
C4
C4S
Targa 4
Targa 4S
Turbo, Turbo Cab, Turbo S, Turbo Cab S
GT3
GT2
GTS, GTS Cab
Speedster

Extra Wide Body (really just fender flares?)
GT3RS
GT2RS

Extra Extra Wide Body:
RSR

So will a 997.2 GT3 rear bumper fit a 997.2 CS?

Of course, a center exhaust conversion. If I've already got Tubi exhaust, can a good muffler shop do this or is a cross-pipe/ gundo hack in order.

There are literally dozens of threads on this subject.

The only thing extra wide bodied on the RS's is the front fender flares which are stuck on. You can buy them from Suncoast.

Wide body cars always have side skirts:

That's the easy way to tell. Targas are wide body too.

You can put a turbo front bumper on but not the rear.

I guess I have no other option than upgrading to stock facelifted bumper with led taillights since all other bumpers are built for wide body cars
