i went over my 'wheels crisis' by now and are back to stock 18" carrera 5 spoke classics car originally came from. they are smaller than I would like them to be - i got 235/275 dunlop star specs on them - but overall for street it is just fine.

 

this is the penultimate pimping poseur porsche car. frankenstein don't fly.

 

The door handles are another give a away. I think this car is now worth less then a stock 996. I am with the others, wheels are bad!

 

With the mods, I think it's going to be difficult to sell to a private individual or even to a dealer.

 

Has he considered putting neon lights underneath?

 

Interesting thread. I think I'm going to do a 997 to 996 conversion on my car. But with even larger Asanti wheels.

 

Some people were doing this a lot with 74-79 911's turning them into a 911SC look a likes. Didn't make sense then either. This conversion looks good (except the wheels IMO) however.
