20k off is approx what the same 2010 is going for used

im curious to see what the GTS goes for in about 6 months as the used ones come on the market.
the couple I have seen already are dropping alot more then I thought they would..
made me change my mind on buying that car.
Back in 09 I got 20 percent off and I was not the only one who got a large discount . That was then and now the market has changed .

20K Vs 7K has a 13K difference which equals one model year of approximate depreciation . Plus it's not exactly the car you'd want . It also sat idle for one year (battery, seals , tires -- sitting ) . It also was looked at by many others . Maybe the price wasn't right all year long to sell . Maybe the options werren't so great. Speculation . One thing is certain .. the car didn't sell.
It's no bargain .

Take that same car and trade it in the next day and then you'll really see how that 20K savings wasn't so great .

911 Molar is infamous around these parts
you guys should be very happy with the fee's you pay for a new porsche. SERIOUSLY cheap. In Australia - my care was $260000 AUD. GO figure that. Absolute bull**** compared to what you guys pay. Just buy the damn thing and know your way ahead of your australian friends. I'd be driving around in a Turbo S if USA

I agree with this logic. The more I think about and look at 2010 preowned prices, the second I leave the dealership with the car the car is best case worth 70K wholesale, probably less. Whether the car has 3000 miles or 200 miles the simple fact is the car is a used 2010 and the 2012's are not too far away. I'm not a buyer at 80K. I can buy a low mileage CPO 2009 for 72K or so. This doesn't contemplated the lack of use for the last year.
