This taking way too much time, i recall back in July u said u r done with the 996 projects, and that awcayenne's car is going to be dropped to ur shop to work on the skirts.. we r in November now and we dont see any updates, did u guys change ur minds about the product? is it still in process?

we just need an update from GT3TEK, i'm trying to finish up my car and just waiting on ur speedster skirts.. and by any chance do u do the rear bumper to fit the 997.2's or is it still only for the 997.1's?

In another thread, GT3TEK mentioned that the side skirts are another 6-8 months from now, as they just finished a body kit for the 987s, besides the 996.

GT3tek... Or anyone... Any update on this? Seems like these would sell like crazy if someone could develop them.

Seems impossible to produce, I suppose. GT3Tek should prove us otherwise, since they had come up with the idea themselves. But I don't think there has been any improvement at all since then. Anyway, good luck.

mold process should begin this week. They use my car to make the molds and I will donate my car these next few weeks. So, shouldn't be too long now.

Sincere question...

Why do they need a full car, other than to test fit the modifications?

Aren't the speedster side skirts the same as the GT2 Lower Trim Sill Kit available from Suncoast for less than $800. Why don't they just order those, modify them to fit the narrow body, and then take molds of the modified skirts for mass production?

What is involved here that I am missing?

Subscribed. I would be interested in a Speedster/GTS-style side skirt.

They are the same... But the sides of a wide body with the skirts off and a narrow body are a lot different. It's not an easy adjustment to make them fit. You really have to build something from scratch that bolts on differently, has different height and width, but looks the same. I talked to some companies about this as well and all wanted a test car and at least a month...

Perhaps a list of those who are willing to buy a set for a NB will provide the motivation (market). I would for sure buy a set.
