Granted, there may be issues with these cars and they appear to be lightly optioned. But these prices still seem lower than I've seen in recent memory.

These appear to be pretty fair asking prices; not great but not too gouging. It seems that damn near 20% of the posts on this forum are questions and/or complaints about vehicle pricing and after reading 30 or 40 or 50 of them you will realize that the the comments/answers are pretty generic.
I've sold 13 cars the past 20 years and I'm convinced the only way to get a real read on what a car is worth is SELL it. For example, 18 months ago I advertised a car on 6 national sites and could not get a sniff at 50k, yet today there are still people here who ask if essentially the same year/model/options/mileage/condition is worth 55k, or conversely complain that the dealer will give them only 42k on a trade.

What I found in my exhaustive search is that the devil is in the details. If you're completely **** like me be sure to take your time and scrutinize everything. You can clearly see and smell what's real and what's a dealer refurb. You'd be amazed at the condition of vehicles at trade/auction before the dealers work their cosmetic magic. I could tell easily if paint/interior work was done, even just touch ups. Every area tells a story and you have to really do your investigative work.
There will always be a range of vehicle conditions from auction/trade in that the dealer can improve and make a tidy profit.
If you know anyone that works at a higher end dealer, ask for the dirty details. It'll amaze you. I've seen the Lexus dealer do work on cars in the back parking lot via a third party w/ a mobile airbrush station.
