Sell it. Speaking as a geek, two-week-old technology is like a two-week-old fish. Two-year-old technology... well, just sell it while you can.

That is a very sanitary installation by the way. Nice job. Anyone seeing the car, for whom the stack is just a bunch of radio stuff, they won't notice it isn't original. To anyone who knows electronics, like me and especially a serious fan of gizmo-toys, the difference will be obvious -- but that sort of person will be glad of the change once they see how well done it was. Be sure to keep the documentation and pictures if you have them, but don't confuse a hypothetical future buyer in the first category. Just save it for a serious geek who wants to know.

Meanwhile, why would you ever sell it in this lifetime? That is one beautiful machine and I only wish... Oh wait, I do have one. Every time I see one of these pictures posted I have to go look in the garage again. Just because I can.

So I will.

G'night all,

Gary

I left mine alone in my Turbo . I felt it was dated even back in 07 but i didn't buy the car for the techno gadgets as much as for the driving enjoyment..I did add the ipod and bluetooth . That will probably be dated too in years to come .

I am not really into high tech either...more functionality and economics. The GUI is a little too much for me, but it delivers the function at a reasonable cost.

Thank yrralis1. I just completed a quick search for a comparable car online. The supply appears to be very slim and at a 10% to 15% increase. What is going on down south?

I liked the car and purchased it for 45% of the new value, so $5,000 higher or lower then what I paid really did not matter to me.
Price is indeed a bit high but if it's what you've been looking for then what's another few grand extra. Price is never too high or low, Price is always right when it's the price you are willing and happy to pay. Sounds like you got a great deal. Congrats on your purchased.

I would not sell any of the original equipment. Hang on to it for the distant day you decide to sell it. Whether your car ever becomes collectible or not, it is always a selling point to have on hand all the original equipment.

great ride!

Looks like you did well. I think the price is reasonable and inline with the market, mileage, and features you have in the car. Drive it well!

Thanks docfink. I fully agree with you in connection with the price. Used Porsches prices in Canada are stupid high. It would be impossible to find the same car here.
