I have had a Porsche factory rep tell me that having a major service performed on a low milage car every three years is recommended..

 

So what is the definition of a major service?

 

I do oil change only on odd-numbered years (1, 3, 5, etc.), then I alternate minor and major services on even-numbered years (minor at 2, 6, 10, etc. and major at 4, 8, 12, etc.).
