Anyone has experience with 997.1 Cat bypass pipe?

For Track Use only, I am thinking of doing cat-bypass on my car.

The FVD cat bypass seems like to have the best of both worlds in terms of what I have found.

Description on FVD site:

Catalytic Bypass pipe “X Torque” design made by M&M in Germany.

The "X torque" design in is a true X pipe design. It is open in the center to add backpressure for torque. Give's you 10-15 ft-lbs of torque in the mid range along with 10-15 hp in the higher rpms. Why settle for the traditional cross over cat design when you can add torque in the mid range where the 997's need it most!!

I figure a cross-over (NHP)style cat bypass may loss too much torque in the mid range and a X type which mix up exhaust from both banks (like Fabspeed?) may not gain as much on top end.

Does anyone have first hand experience with any of these cat-bypass pipes?

Performance wise, wouldn't the cat bypass yield more gains than the 200 cell high flow cat?

yeah youlll get more power with the bypass. get the x style cause no cats will give power and the x gives torque

What about the change in back pressure (loss in low end TQ) and the CELs?

I am worried about losing low end torque as well thus I think the X style bypass or the U style bypass may be a better idea.

CEL should be taken care of with a proper tune or a mini cat simulator.

To my surprise that no one who has done the cat bypass mod has replied probably most has gone with the high flow cat route.
