reviving an old thread...like the OP I had a boxster and was debating a 911 4s cab manual for a daily driver and occasional track day car (maybe 5-8 times a year)... currently have an Exige, but getting hard to drive it as I can only really drive on weekends and I have my daughter on weekends (she is 9).

Can the 4S cab be a serviceable HPDE car? I know it wont be my dream Porsche (997.2 GT3 RS 4.0... droool).. but I kinda need awd for a DD, backseats and some track useage. Want a cab again and my daughter loves convertibles as does my wife.... Can the 4s 997 Cab (6speed) be a Jack of all???
