Engine Fan

How often should the fan go off in normal city driving with the air con on?

I just feel that it goes off too much in my car. I cannot really quantify it.

I hope my question makes some sense.

Its based on engine temp and governed by a thermostat.

Thats what should happen in the city w ac on. The water gauge won't move until the temps are really high. Forget the "175" reading if that is what you are looking at.
