I bought the warranty for my wife. I could care less about the engine exploding, but I know that she would be none too happy. Been there done that, went over like a lead balloon.

I bought the platinum warranty for a fairly good price
$2K for 6 years/100K (which ever comes first).
My car only has 5K miles on it
