Arctic Silver is what I was told but research of the Paint Code on the Gas Cap reads: M7Z which I now think means GT Silver. IS there a difference?

I am still working an inventory of all the options.

The wheels look like iForged Swifts to me. They must have changed the 20" so the spokes continue all the way to the rim like the HRE.

I think GT silver is a special order color, well at least it was in more recent years.

Congrats! I also just got my first a few weeks ago and i am loving it.

Congrats on picking up a great car. I'm in the market agin myself- going to upgrade my 996 for a 997 "S." If you don't mind me asking, was the C4 decision due to bad weather in the winter and needing it for a daily driver, or was there something else that led you there instead of a C2? Trying to decide something similar myself right now.

Thanks!

To be fair here - I was really just in the market for something tasty. When I found the C4S, I then went down a 'it snows in Colorado, so C4 is what I need' to justify it.

I was just looking for a nice example of a 911, and this popped up, so I took it.

crazycarlitos,

No - I did not test drive the car, but I did have good detailed pictures. I also had a highly recommended independent dealer (recommendation from this board) inspect and drive the car, and they had a glowing review. Due to other relationship issues between the dealer and that independent, with a positive review from my inspector, I knew that what I was getting was a great vehicle.

This is the first time I have bought a vehicle 'sight unseen', although I have bought and shipped other cars. The element of nervousness never left me until the car showed up on the car carrier, and then I felt comfortable.

Would I do it again - not sure. I guess for the right car I would consider it again.
