Just got a message from Frank this morning and a new shipment has arrived. Ordered mine and can't wait to get them installed.

My lights were shipped June 24 according to DHL tracking. Arrived in country of destination (USA) on June 28 and I'm still waiting for them to reach the delivery depot as described in tracking status. Anyone else experience this long in transit? I realize we just came off holiday but I would have thought given a week in country that they would have been here by today.

 

Mine took 10 days to get to my door; granted, I live in HI. The delay is most likely due to clearing customs. Also, DHL is known to update their website slowly, so it could very well be at the delivery depot already. Just be patient. The wait is worth it .

Hi guys.

I have problem with Dectane LED Tail Lights.

If lights are on before starting the engine - the right one does not work after starting. You should turn off the light and then on again - in this case they work. And this happend only sometimes, not on each start of engine. I am not able to detect it without manual checking with my eyes.

Do you have some recommendation, how to solve it? I tried it also without additional resistors and probem persists. There are no system warnings.

just curious.. my lights don't have auto-off.. so i always have to turn off the lights manually when exiting..

why is ur light on before starting the engine?

 

Good question - I never start the car with the lights on - want to minimize the draw on the battery, In fact on my Suburban, with auto on lights, they turn off during the start cycle to do exactly that.

 

1. I sit to car.
2. I insert key and turn to position 1, when start systems, but not engine.
3. I turn on lights to ON position => lights are ON
4. Start engine
5. ... and sometimes RIGHT lights (on passenger side) does not working. But does not working only one part of thiss light (daily light).

With standart fabric lights there is no probleem, but with Dectane there is ssometimes thiss problem and I do not uderstand why?

 

Your start sequence should be 1, 2, 4, 3, 5.

 

Hi. I have also AUTO ON LIGHTS. So you recommendation is "NOT USE LIGHTS ON AND USE ONLY AUTO ON" or "LIGHTS ON AFTER ENGINE START" ???

I understand, when could be problem, but do not understand why there is no problem with original lights. And also, why is problem only with one lights and one pard off this light.

Main problem iss, that I can not 100% rely on this lights. I find this problem after for example 20 tests of this lights because I am very precise in this and have to verify each change on original partss many times.

And this problem repeated random each XXth start of engine.
