How long did it take for yours to arrive after you placed the order?

Received conformation and tracking number for the replacement tail light today!!!

It took sometime, but it appears that I will have my replacemt light soon. Frank states that the business is growing at a rapid rate and that he did not have enough man power to keep up, hence the delay. I believe, this was his first real issue and needed the time to figure out how to handle it. Eitherway, I am satisfied with the outcome.

FYI - The lights do come with a 12 month warranty. However, you will need to return the defected lights to him. (I assume at our cost) Just be glad he doesn't ask for the defected one first.

sc170 - glad to hear frank got this resolved for you. I wasn't seriously doubting that he wouldn't take care of you... he's got too many customers here to take that chance. good to know about the warranty.

No luck even w resistors, awaiting response from Frank

Hey fellas, 08 targa 4s; initially installed about 1 month ago without resistors, was getting 'check left brake light' intermittently; reinstalled once, and no problems for about 2 weeks but recently same error message so installed resistor pack today: the error message is gone, however the left brake still is not getting bright when brake applied; the center light and right side have worked fine. The right and left signals and even the fog light in the left rear work; the left lights up when switched to position 1, but brake part of gettig bright does not. its bizarre but the left brake light just isnt consistentl illuminating. I emailed Frank to see what to do. Any one have experience such as this?
thx.

Dectane LEDs

Hi guys, I am new to the forum and have a 997s 2006 in Australia.
These LED tail lights seem like the way to go.
However it seems some people are having problems with the fog light. My fog light is in the Right Tail light Unit.
Are people just connecting up the extra resistors anyway to get rid of this problem or just hooking the units up and hope for the best

Cheers

No fog light problems with Dectane product - fog light is integrated into light. Problem is with Rotec product which requires a bulb. Installing the extra resistor pack doesn't cause any problems.

The condensation should go away when you drive more. All these lights are vented not complete sealed.
