Dyno Results

I have not had a chance to rerun on the dyno. The AWD is the culprit that I have been told caused the fluctuations. Between work and moving I haven't had a chance to get it done. My lack of response is certainly not a negative on the install, as all is well.

Does IPD recommend GT3 throttle body upgrade with their new 997.2 DFI IPD plenum? If so, do you offer a kit (plenum + TB) that directly bolt on to the factory hardware just like the 997.1 kit?

The 997.2 Carreras (both S and Non S) come from the factory already equipped with the 82mm TB, which is still the largest Porsche TB available.

There is only one 997.2 Carrera Plenum option for this application.

Thanks for all the interest,

IPD Greg

Hi there

Does fitting the competition plenum and 82mm throttle body loose any low-down power/torque on a 997.1 C2S?

At the moment got BMC panel filter, X51 manifolds and 200 cel high-flow cats. Would the plenum/82mm throttlebody give me more torque and power across the whole rev range?

It won't reduce your torque at low RPMs. You might not realize an improvement at low RPMs either.

Intake improvements tend to benefit the mid to high rpm range. Improvements on the intake side reduce the resistance to airflow which allows the engine to suck in more air. Yet at low RPMs there isn't much resistance to begin with. (The volume of intake air is smaller at low rpms so it is less restricted.)
