the best advice is to get what you want. but consider yourself warned, keeping black clean is a second job....
IMO, a white Porsche looks very good. If I could do it all over again, my car would be white. You will save a lot of money in detailing equipment if you stay away from black.

My doing wife and I have even talked about compomising and doing Red with tan interior. I would insist on black carpet, with some other interior trim in black to break up all the tan.
On a side note................the baby blue with a tan interior sounds sweet. Old school esque.

Red GTS Convertible... The Red is amazing, especially with the Black GTS wheels (which never look dirty BTW). White, Platinum, GT or Meteor will also age gracefully.
But my preference is for Black/Gray interiors in sports cars as opposed to browns (unless it's Cocoa).

If it's going to be used mainly as a weekend toy and/or occasional driver, I love the look of triple black. If it's to be used more as a daily driver, I'd steer clear of black and go with white exterior and whatever interior and top (seeing you are looking at a cab) you like.

I'd go with the white and cocoa all leather interior. White is the new black and black on black on black has been done and done and done to death. Now, if you don't like white there is always Silver over black.

I check the cars posted on ebay daily..and the ones posted with the buy it now option..
blue 95% of the time is around 5k less then white,silver,black
on the flip side if you don't buy your favorite color combo you will regret it every time you look at it.

One thing to consider: the soft top of a cab is usually the first to go when compared to rest of the body so if you are saving this for your son, you may need a top replacement at that point.
As for color, black/black is really everywhere and cocoa is a really nice color. (We almost got it with Macamdia) I now have the black/titanium blue which is kind of different from the regular black/black. I also have basalt black which is not as nice as the pure black but a lot easier to maintain.

Very strong points and thanks for the input. Thanks for the above comments also folks. As for some of these questions, let me answer with this...........
I plan on keeping the car until my son is "ready" for it. If all goes well, hopefully when he "grow up" he will have learned to have respect. That being for all things important in life, not just cars or possessions but family, friends, and life itself.
If he has a good grasp on that and more importantly an understanding of the car, the rules of the road, he might be sitting in it after college.
I'm not really concerned with resale. I've waited quite a few years to pick up another toy, and like I mentioned, this one must be special.
I'm actually hoping to restore a VW Ghia as he gets older. Good fun car that won't go 180mph. Plus, it's a good vehicle for him to learn the basics on. Who knows, we build it right, he might not want the P-car.
I'm 41 now, so I would be driving this car around until I'm in my late 50's/early 60's. (that last sentence kinda wigged me out as I typed it)
So, I do want something that will fit me. This is just a toy, not a daily driver or anything like that. Joy rides on the weekends and trips out around the neighborhood is about the extent.

if you ask me bright is the only way to go and PTS is the solution....you'll never be sorry!

I remember reading in one of Harry Pellows old books that back in the day Porsche would not make cars with matching interiors and exteriors. Personally I have to agree with this sentiment. The cars really pop when you open the door and the interior and exterior are different colors.
But as said before, get what you want. Plus black on black my be the only case where I might think it's ok to match colors.

It is the first time I see this color but I have to say, I had my next p-car pegged with mexico or riviera blue but I think I'll have to consider this one too... It might have an unfair advantage though in your pics because it is just stunning against the white setting of the snow!
Is it a metallic or flat paint?

The color code is 3AS. Good Luck with your choice but to me this is the best!
