New 997 Carrera Turbo Kit Project Begins!

If you have not seen the other threads of our 996 Carrera Turbo Kit, then you are missing out on what is about to hit the 997 Carrera world. All I can say is subscribe, hold on, and get excited!

Patrick drove over from Southern California and left us with his rather stock Porsche 997 Carrera 3.8L cab. Having owned a couple of 996TT, he wanted more power. When he saw our call out for a donor 997, Patrick jumped on. So this is his car that is about to get transformed. You can view his complete gallery as we do the mods here (Patrick's Gallery) Stay tuned!

This is gonna be interesting!....
And all this fits under the rear bumper and supports?!
Do you guys have a picture of any of the 996's with the turbo and the back bumper put back on,from about 2 car lengths away?
IF not could you post one of the 997 once done?

Dan,
You're tuning and modification abilities are legendary. I'm curious though, why would Patrick not just buy a used 996TT or 997TT cab. Is your upgrade more economical then a used TT. BTW. I got your softronic tune (TYVM) and will install it on Monday as soon as I run out and buy Winzip.

It s more economical.
The kit is approx. $9K plus install.

Upgrading to a 997.1 TT would be almost $30K.

Will the stock clutch handle the improved power?

Stock clutch depends on the condition it is in.
