Im not fan of all wheel drive porsches.I dont think 05 are issue.

 

This is my opinion as well....the all-wheels drives definitely have a different feel(heavier),but some people love how planted to the road they feel!
As far as '05's having issues....how many were sold,still being driven and have had any type of IMS problem?.....my guess,and only a guess,would be a very minute!
This sometimes is the problem with forums,a mole hill can become a mountain,LOL!....... 5 cars(and that number is just a number,I have no idea to the exact amount) have the problem and they all get labelled as BAD.....
IF you can get GREAT deal on an '05 and this IMS is an issue for you....upgrade the IMS,contact LN engineering...they supposedly have the remedy!
Do your due diligence when buying any car....and most of all keep it within' your budget.Nothing worse than owning a car you cannot afford to drive!
