Just wondering if anyone can point me to what I should look for.

New to me 997.2 C4S.

Have noticed a pattern under heavy braking that just the front left locks up.

Happens on street setup. Stock rotors/pads PS2s.

Happens with track setup. Girodisc/Pagid Yellows/Pilot Sport Cups.

Have stainless steel lines and Motul fluid.

Very consistent just the front left locking up.

Previously had 997.1 C4 with exact same setup (Girodisc/Pagid) and was consistently doing threshold braking at the track no issues. Not even getting close to threshold and front left is locking with new car.

Car has sport pasm which previous car did not.

ABS? PSM? Any ideas on how to troubleshoot?

I've had what you are describing on my 09 C2S. Only happens braking between T2 and the kink leading to the keyhole at Mid-Ohio. CarboTech XP12 pads with stock discs.

 

I would take it to the dealer, sounds like an alignment issue.

 

ABS light come on?
