Brakes and Ignition Switch Replacement
Brakes and Ignition Switch Replacement
Hello All: These topics may have been covered but I was unable to find concise information. Can anyone give a ballpark cost for ignition switch replacement and front brake job (rotors, sensors and pads) for a 2006 911 Carrera Cab (non S-3.6)? I have a quote from a highly recommended Indy but the brake job cost seems high. I would do it myself, but I need it done before this weekend and I just don't have the time.
Year: 2006
Model: 911 Carrera Cabriolet
Color: Midnight Blue
Interior: Sand Beige
Wheels: 19"
As always, any thoughts and/or advice is appreciated.
Sincerely.

I haven't heard of anyone changing their ignition, so don't know the costs. For pricing in your area, call a few shops in your area. Not sure why you need to get them done before this weekend...if you have a track day or a long road trip, then get it done. If you sensor have just gone off, then you will be fine for a while, you will have about 20% remaining.
