Was removing my rear seats today when I noticed an enormous amount of water underneath the passenger reat seat and footwell. Hasn'it rained in about a week. Don't understand where all this water can be coming from ? Please Help!!

 

I am assuming yours is cab. My boxster had a issue where funnel drains the water out of the car was slashed for some odd reason. It's a small rubber piece near the side that is getting wet. Stop the top in the middle as it's opens/closes, look for the hole on rubber housing and seal it or replace w/ the right part. If you have the warranty, it should cover it.

 

Sorry its not a CAB. The one thing I have noticed recently is the AC does not drain outside the car. If that makes any sense or helps.

 

Have you run water on the car to see if there are any leaks ? I once had a 2002 996 with a sunroof that leaked . The water drip was over the back portion of the console . It got wet but not as much as what you are describing .
