Brakes Damping Sets

Hi All,

I know this is kinda stupid question, but do we need to remove the damping adhesive when we plug them into the pistons? Or do we just insert the item as it is?

Cheers.

you mean the adhesive on the dampener back side that faces/attaches to the back of the pad? no, that's what the adhesive is for - so that it DOES stick to the pad backing.

of course, it makes it a PITA to swap out pads for track day but sticky dampeners help reduce squeal.
