Aftermarket Warranty

Anyone purchase an aftermarket warranty from Costco? The Warranty is actually through Century Warranty Services. My Indy Shop said they were good. Their price was not to bad either for a 3 yr 36K with $100 deductible - $2294 (my original warranty expired already). The warranty is an exclusion policy.

I purchased a 6 yr 100k warranty (actually 86k due to the car already having 14k miles) for 2500, with a 100 deductible. Supposedly bumper to bumper

If you go with Easy Care try to get the Total Care policy. The next one down is the Stated Care which excludes the IMS and RMS . . . Go figure!

Easy Care rates have gone way up. Makes getting the warranty not worth it.

I have heard bad things about Fidelity. Do a search online and you will see numerous complaints.

A lot of people on here have Easy Care and it seems to be well liked, but you are correct about their prices. I had them give me a quote and it is quite pricey. I would rather pay for the repair when it happens than the high price of the insurance now.

I also just got an Easy Care quote. The price was reasonable (~ $2K including inspection), but I have < 12K on the car and requested a quote for an additional 36K over 4 years of total coverage. Once you hit the 25K mark the price jumps quite a bit.
