Radiator and blower fans question (after turning the car off)
Radiator and blower fans question (after turning the car off)
Does anyone know what the conditions are for the (a) radiator fans and (b) blower to remain on after the engine is shut off?
On hot days, my radiator fans will typcally be blowing hard when I pull into my garage, but they have never stayed on when I turned the car off. (When they blow hard, I usually wait a few minutes before shutting down.) The front radiator fans seem to be blowing extreme heat and the front luggage compartment seems to get pretty hot (I'm not sure if this is normal or not.)
In the last 2 years, I've only had one warning light on the blower. Summer time oil temp seems to be 215-230, and coolant is always right in the middle.
My others family cars' fans (on hot days) remain on after pulling the ignition key.
Insight is appreciated.

I've been seeing 225 with air conditioning on and 95 degrees outside temp and spirited but not hard driving. Seems perfectly normal and happy. The other day the fan ran in the garage for a while after I shut off the engine.
fans normal. altho i have noticed that my frunk gets so hot, the lug key is almost too hot to handle w/o gloves (when i try to change wheels right after a long hot drive). disconcerting since the amp and electronics are in there too, but i'm guessing normal.
