SharkWerks

I am looking at the SharkWerks muffler bypass system for my 2011 Carrera S. The exhaust note sounds very much like the factory PSE. Is there anything I need to know before I pull the trigger? How is factory warranty affected? The sound on the SharkWerks website really sounds good! Any first hand reviews?

i have it on my 2011 C2S. You have nothing to worry about the warranty, it will not avoid your warranty. The sound is great fitment is great. go for it!

Go for it, you won't regret it. My only caveat is that while you CAN do this yourself, you're much better letting a professional do it by bringing it to your dealer. They charged my 1 1/2 hours labor, which to me was well worth it. I tried to get my center exhaust removed, and I simply couldn't get one of the nuts removed. Given that I have PSE, there was an extra pipe in my way, but I still think removal would have been difficult, expecially without a lift.

But once you get it on, you'll forget you have a radio in your car.

I don't have PSE on my car so this mod would be in lieu of the factory sport exhaust. Will there enough difference in sound to justify doing the mod?
