These are some times I got from my 997.2S/PDK. I used launch control. I got 4sec with PSM off and with it on I got better times as posted. I did not time my car before the mods so I can not say what it would do without them, but it definitley feels much faster then some stock cars I have driven recently.
These times were done last night at about 300ft elevation and 65degrees.
I have not had a chance to do a quarter mile run, no safe areas to do this around here.

even with porsche known to be conservative on their quoted 0-60 times, that is very impressive given they list it as 4.3 seconds for a PDK

Thanks it feels quick. You are right porsche usually is very conservative with their ratings but I have only been able to get a 4.5 sec to 60 in my CTT. And my CTT has a tune and bypass pipes and is running at over 600hp. Porsche says it does it in 4.4 with a stock. I have tried to brake boost but will keep trying until I get some decent numbers. It is insanely quick at a rolling start though.

As a reference, you should know that a non x50 996 Turbo has nearly the same acceleration to 100 mph. Granted there are several other variables - incline, launch technique, etc...but your N/A PDK 911 should be pretty much on par with the previous generation turbo at least to 100.

Hi there

What are the modifications you have made to your car? Any predictions on what BHP you think your running?

Any chance you can also do:-
30-70mph
60-100mph

If you find a long enough stretch of private road:-
30-130mph

Your times are very impressive.

Nice numbers!

Ive tested mine with the Vbox as well, best i got was a 0-100 in 4.0 and 0-160km in 9.2 Seconds . looks like the IPD and the tune improve performance quite a bit.

My mods are listed below in my Sig. I can only estimate what I think my HP is since I have not dyno'd the car. I think it is has around 440hp at the crank.
The exhaust with 3rd muffler delete gave me maybe 5 to 10 hp. Then the CAI another 10hp at best, the tune claims 25 but probably only 15, the IPD plenum I think was the most at around 25. People will argue about my thoughts on the plenum but that is just my experience with the difference I felt with this last mod. By the way I had each mod done separately with at least 3 months in between, so that I can say if I felt a difference when adding each one.

I will try to do some more runs with different parameters, up to 130 is probably not possible for safety reasons. I am already pushing it doing the 100mph test.

The tune probably did make a big difference but it was the one I felt the least. The IPD plenum I felt was the biggest difference, but I had it done last. So it is hard to say that I would feel the same if I had done it first.
It would be interesting to see what you get if you just add the plenum. And then a few months later add the tune and see if it makes even more of a difference.
When my lease is up in April I will remove my mods and test it again to see what kind of numbers I get then. Should be interesting to see if all these mods really give significant gains.

Hi there

Got my Vbox working and so far done these:-

30-70 = 3.4s (3.1s best, slight downhill, 3.8s worse, uphill)
60-100 = 5.4s (4.8s best, slight downhill, 5.9s worse, uphill)

Dunno how they compare as mine is a 997.1 C2S manual with X51 manifolds and PSE.

Thank you so much for sharing this info with us. Your car is fast no doubt, but I think you are being to optimistic about your gains. If you got 20Hp with all of them itīs already a world record. Porsche had to open the engine and work on it in order to gain REAL 23Hp, and you only have bolt on parts.

25Hp with Plenium ....if you gain 5 thatīs amazing
CAI 10HP gain more like 2 or 3hp
ECU 10/15Hp.. Well if you gain 10HP at high revs, you lost 10HP at low revs Maybe it gave 7Hp
Exhaust 5/10Hp ... Only with new sport cats you can have 10Hp gains muffler doesnīt give you that much, maybe 5hp.

Best way to see if you really gain something is having a friend with a 997.2 and make some side by side aceleration tests before and after mods. Dyno are subjective and but dyno too, we sure can have an idea about it, I had my own real life experience with it, but side by side is the way to go.

If you got 4,0sec to 100Kph, so you got more or less the same time zzzspedd got on his car with all those mods. He menage to make 3,7sec to 60Mph/96Kph, so we can calculate he would make 3,9sec to 100Kph. Having in mind the tarmac conditions, tires and the LC itself 0,1 tsec doesnīt represent nothing and it could be the other way around.

Till 160Kph zzzspeed was indeed faster than you by maybe 0,3 /0,4sec which is not marginal, maybe those mods made some effect but only with those cars making this on same road, on the same conditions, at the same time results would be accurate.

Anyway the weight is also important, if car A driver weights 95 Kg and the car is fully optioned and car B driver weights 65Kg and itīs a basic optioned car difference in weight can reach 80/90 Kgs.

I believe zzzspeed car to be faster than a regular .2S, but no way a 997.2S can make 440Hp with those bolt on only, it means he will destroy a regular 997.2S and even a smoke a 997.2 GT3 ...did I say smoke a GT3

I cant argue with that, as I am really new to doing mods. I am basing my gains on the fact that it gets better times then even the gt3RS per some of the magazines I read, and definitley better then the gt3. This might be silly of me to gauge it that way. I have no stock c2s to race, I can only judge from being at the PSDS in FEb and driving their stock c2s's and then coming home to mine....night and day difference.
Overall the actual hp number is not as important to me as is the everyday drivability of a car that to me feels much faster and sounds so nice then a stock car. By the way my weight is about 80kg of pure unadultered muscle

I have to find a road where I can get it up to that speed. My runs to 100mph are followed by me slamming on the brakes right after I hit the speed. Will keep my eye out for a nice road to do some tests and will post them.
